About Me

Nabila Azam

 I am an experienced art educator with a deep passion for painting and decorative arts. Having lived abroad, I bring a global perspective to my practice. Alongside my work in the arts, I am committed to supporting mental health, currently working as a counselling tutor and previously managing school-based mental health services alongside my private work. 

 Being bilingual allows me to connect with diverse communities and provide inclusive support. I believe in the transformative power of therapy for personal growth and wellbeing and am dedicated to supporting others on their healing journey. 

My practice

I offer a holistic approach that blends talk therapy, art therapy  and goal focused approach to support your well-being. With over a decade of experience, including work with psychosis and child and adolescent mental health, I work with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and difficulties with self-esteem or emotional regulation.  

 Each session is tailored to your needs, whether you are seeking short-term support or long-term personal growth. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, using therapy to foster insight, self-expression, and positive change.

Cultural competence is at the heart of my practice. I respect and value diverse cultural and faith backgrounds and am committed to understanding each individual’s unique experiences. I provide therapy that is inclusive, empathetic, and empowering, creating a safe and supportive space where your cultural identity is fully acknowledged and integrated into your journey.
